Every pixel on your screen is three tiny lights: red, green and blue. Turn them up and down, and their light adds together.

Try it: move the sliders, then press the buttons.

• Red + green light = yellow. All three at full = white. All off = black.
• Paint works the other way round: mixing paints gets darker, mixing light gets brighter.
