For corporate trainers

Corporate training is the same workshop delivered many times to rooms you have never met, usually with someone expecting evidence it worked. Workshopy makes the workshop a reusable template, gives you a live view of who is keeping up during delivery, and produces a per-session report — attendance, progress, quiz results, engagement — without you assembling anything by hand.

What goes wrong today

Nobody admits they are lost in front of colleagues

Especially with their manager in the room. A private per-step status marker gets you the truth that a 'any questions?' never will.

The same deck, re-improvised every time

Delivery drifts run to run, so results are not comparable. A template that snapshots at session start means every cohort gets the same content and produces a comparable report.

Proving it worked

Sign-in sheets and a feedback form are weak evidence. Per-participant step completion and quiz results are considerably stronger, and they come out of the session automatically.

How a session runs

  1. Build the workshop once

One Markdown document, steps split by # headings, knowledge checks as #[quiz] steps. Keep it as a template and start a fresh session for each delivery; edits to the template never disturb a session already running.

  2. Deliver with the room visible

Participants join with a code — no corporate SSO hurdle, no install, works on a laptop or a phone. The dashboard shows step-by-step progress, stuck signals and the help queue live.

  3. Check understanding as you go

Fire a broadcast: an announcement, an acknowledge prompt to confirm the room is ready, or a quick single- or multi-choice poll with live aggregation. Graded quiz steps give you a harder measure.

  4. Adapt on the fly

If the room is ahead, hide a step. If it turns out they need a prerequisite you dropped, insert one. If a client asks for a change mid-session, edit the step and it propagates live.

  5. Hand over the evidence

Export the session report as Markdown: timeline, participation, quiz outcomes, broadcast responses, annotations. Pro keeps report history for 12 months.

What you get

  • One template, many deliveries, a comparable report from each
  • No participant accounts — nothing for corporate IT to approve
  • Acknowledge prompts and polls to confirm the room is with you
  • Graded quizzes as a real measure of understanding
  • Markdown export of every report
  • Up to 200 participants and 8-hour sessions on Pro

Frequently asked questions

Can I remove Workshopy branding for client sessions?

Yes — the 'Powered by Workshopy' footer is removed on the Pro plan.

Is it suitable for a full-day workshop?

On Pro, yes: sessions run up to 8 hours. The free plan caps sessions at 45 minutes, which suits a single module rather than a full day.

What about data protection?

Participant data is limited to a display name plus their activity in the session. The /security page documents the architecture — per-account isolation enforced in the database, private asset storage with signed URLs, and account deletion that cascades. Analytics are consent-gated and off until a visitor accepts.

Can participants join without giving their real name?

They type whatever display name you ask them to use — there is no identity verification. If you need attendance tied to verified corporate identities, Workshopy does not provide that today.
