Workshopy vs Mentimeter
Mentimeter turns your presentation into an interactive one: you build slides in their editor and the audience responds from their phones with votes, word clouds, scales and quizzes. Workshopy is not a presentation tool — it hands each participant the workshop content itself and shows the host a live grid of who has completed which step and who is stuck. Mentimeter is the better fit for interactive talks and workshops driven from the front of the room; Workshopy is the better fit for hands-on sessions where people work through material themselves.

Frequently asked questions
Is Workshopy a Mentimeter alternative?
For hands-on workshops, yes. For interactive presentations, not really — Workshopy has no slide editor and no word clouds or ranking questions. The overlap is polls and quizzes; the difference is that Workshopy gives each participant the material and tracks their progress through it, which Mentimeter does not do.
Can I import my Mentimeter deck?
No — there is no importer, and the formats are not comparable. What Workshopy does import is Markdown: paste or upload an existing .md file and each top-level # heading becomes a step. If your material started life as a document, that path is usually a few minutes of work.
Does Workshopy work for large audiences?
Up to 200 participants in one session on the Pro plan, 30 on the free plan. That covers most workshops and classrooms but not conference keynotes — if you are presenting to a thousand people, an audience-response tool is the right shape.
