Frequently asked questions
Does Workshopy support anonymous responses?
Participants choose a display name when they join, so responses are attributable — that is deliberate, because knowing WHO is stuck is the point of the dashboard. There is no anonymous-response mode today. If anonymity is central to your session, an audience-response tool is the better fit.
Can Workshopy grade quizzes?
Yes. A step tagged `#[quiz]` becomes a graded quiz; questions are `##` headings and answers are task-list items with `- [x]` marking what is correct. Correct answers are redacted server-side before the step reaches a participant, and results are shown immediately or published by the host.
Do I need to install anything?
No, on either side. The host works in the browser and participants join with a 6-character code on whatever device they have. There is no add-in, no app and no account for participants.
